Destiny Scrolls
Do you know what God has written about you? Psalm 139:16 says all the days ordained for you were “written in (his) book before one of them came to be.” That means your passions, your personality, your purpose, all have been written in His book and signed by the blood of Jesus. Unfortunately, I feel that a majority of the body of Christ is not walking in the destiny that was written by God. From the beginning of time He adorned us with specific qualities, gifts, and talents, that He wants us to use for His glory. You see, we tend to make life more complicated than it needs to be. We worry about this and that, when in reality, all we need to do is hear God reading His book. "Rewrite your story to match My book" is what I heard the Lord say; when He turns to that chapter, that page, and reads that sentence about us, we listen and obey.
I’ve created these “books” to be a reminder and a replica of God’s book as well as a revelatory registry where one can record the very voice of the Father. I attempted to portray an ancient, archaic aesthetic paired with accents of inspiration and revelation, like an aged atlas untampered lavished with knowledge and prophecies of old. They are handcrafted out of clay, just as we are products of the Earth, mirroring our unique architecture and design, yet glistening and radiant as the living gems within His heart.
